Senior Visual Designer

At Royal Bank of Canada, we're redefining the entrepreneurship landscape by simplifying what it takes to be a business owner. We're on a mission to become the leading platform for entrepreneurship in Canada, and we need a talented Senior Visual Designer to join our Creative Team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and refine the Ownr visual identity, including logos, logo usages, color palettes, typography, illustrations, and iconography.
- Conceptualize and create external marketing campaigns and assets, landing pages, digital and social assets, and more.
- Develop the Ownr brand guidelines, providing access to brand assets and resources for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with the product and marketing team on brand-building and marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with copywriters, art directors, creative directors, and production teams within Ownr and with third-party partners to execute marketing campaigns.
- Be an effective partner with marketing, ensuring that design and marketing work seamlessly together.
- A degree in a design or related field (e.g., graphic design, visual communications, marketing, etc.) or the equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience working in design or marketing teams, digital or advertising agencies.
- A portfolio that demonstrates your design skills and conceptual thinking.
- Strong aesthetic skills and a demonstration of graphic design core principles concerning typography, layout/composition, grid systems, color, photography, iconography, etc.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and similar tools.
- Experience ideating and collaborating alongside a copywriter, visual designers, art directors, creative directors, marketers, and others.
- Ability to embrace feedback and continue to iterate and improve your work.
- Ability to communicate and present ideas and rationales.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
