Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment, as well as delivering and installing equipment as needed. This role requires strong technical knowledge of propane and natural gas appliances, equipment, and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service equipment as required to avoid unnecessary downtime and ensure proper working condition
  • Deliver and install climate control-related equipment as needed
  • Diagnose and repair standard mechanical equipment problems
  • Fabricate parts as needed
  • Perform regular and service level safety inspections on equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of one to three years' experience in a related field
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract
  • Sound technical knowledge of propane and natural gas appliances, equipment, and plant operations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use computers, specifically mobile computing devices
