Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Resource Nurse to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a Clinical Resource Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing clinical expertise to nurses and coordinating patient care within the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise to nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Coordinate patient care within the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement patient-centered care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote interdisciplinary care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
  • Minimum three years recent related nursing experience
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing or Registered Psychiatric Nursing (Mental Health) education program
  • Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses
  • Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)/Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act
  • Nursing care knowledge related to clinical area
  • Personal Health Information Act (PHIA), Protection of Persons in Care Act, Mental Health Act, Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS), Principles of Routine Practices (Universal Precautions) and other legislated acts
Working Conditions
  • Moderate to heavy physical effort required
  • Hours of work are flexible and may include evening, night or weekend shifts as required
