About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation and AI Developer to join our team. As a Simulation and AI Developer, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art scenario synthesis tools and frameworks, ensuring the generation of effective and diverse driving scenarios for validating and improving autonomous vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain simulation tools and frameworks for autonomous vehicle testing and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation tools with machine learning frameworks
- Design and develop interfaces for large-scale traffic simulation
- Contribute to the development of tools and processes that support data acquisition, scenario generation, and machine learning frameworks in software-in-the-loop simulation
- Analyze and identify potential improvements in simulation accuracy, fidelity, and performance to optimize system development
- Propose and architect systems for enabling the use of real-world driving scenarios in simulation
Requirements
- Experience in developing applications using game engines like Unity or Unreal 4
- Proven experience working with CARLA or other similar driving simulators, showing understanding of its architecture and features
- Ability to define and develop effective interfaces for simulators
- Software development skills in Python and C++
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
