Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Farm Labourer, Grain Harvesting to join our team at The Greenhorizons Group of Farms Ltd. As a key member of our crop farming team, you will be responsible for cultivating and harvesting crops on our vertical farming system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and Harvest Crops: Cultivate crops on our vertical farming system, ensuring optimal growth and yield.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, forklifts, and loaders.
  • Work Site Environment: Work in a fast-paced, outdoors environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.
  • Task Management: Perform tasks such as weeding, cutting agricultural crops, and cleaning the work area.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair farm equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and lifting heavy loads.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40-70 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
