BrightPath Kids Canada is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator/Assistant to join our team at our Barrie location. What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator/Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with instruction in the classroom to ensure a high-quality learning experience for children.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized environment that promotes the well-being of children.
  • Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities and promote social-emotional development.
  • Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families to ensure a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, Early Childhood Assistant Certification, or Registered Early Childhood Educator.
  • To meet the province's requirements for childcare employment.
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR certification.
  • Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements.
  • Experience in planning and implementing programs for young children.
