Key Responsibilities- Conduct Religious Services: Lead worship services, sermons, and other spiritual activities to promote faith and spiritual growth.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Oversee the daily operations of the office and manage volunteer staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Administer Rites of Faith: Perform marriages, funerals, and other sacred rites with dignity and respect.
- Develop and Implement Programs: Design and implement programs of religious education, counseling, and support services to meet the needs of inmates and staff.
- Provide Spiritual Guidance: Offer one-on-one counseling, guidance, and support to inmates and staff to promote spiritual growth and well-being.
- Administrative and Office Activities: Manage administrative tasks, maintain records, and perform other office duties as required.
- Security and Safety: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to security protocols to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional lifting and bending.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a team player attitude.
- Screening Questions: Answer questions related to eligibility to work in Canada and residency in proximity to the advertised location.
- Financial Benefits: Receive compensation and benefits as per the collective agreement, with a permanent work term and flexible hours (7-23 hours per month).
