Job Title: Hairdresser

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairdresser to join our team at Beauty Destination Spa and Esthetics.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to showcase their skills and contribute to the success of our spa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Shampoo customers' hair
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages
  • Supervise other hair stylists and other staff
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Apply hair extensions
  • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties
Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the hairdressing industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
