General Superintendent – Civil Construction

EBC is a leading infrastructure development company that specializes in delivering complex projects across Canada. Our team of experts has a proven track record of successfully executing major infrastructure projects, including bridges, roads, highways, tunnels, and marine installations.

As a member of our Civil team, the General Superintendent will be responsible for directing field operations and ensuring the successful execution of various heavy civil projects. This will include tunneling, highways, infrastructure, earthworks, and hydroelectric projects.

The General Superintendent will report directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for the entire completion of construction projects, as well as the supervision of Superintendents on the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct field operations and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Provide innovative construction solutions to ensure project success
  • Supervise Superintendents on the site and ensure they are meeting project objectives
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure project goals are met

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in civil construction project management
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
