We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Save-On-Foods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process written prescriptions and refill requests.
  • Input patient and prescription information into our computer system.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and returning stock, as well as performing expiry date checks and balance owing corrections.
  • Adhere to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
  • Communicate allergy interactions and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or 2 years of dispensary experience.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Kroll computer experience is an asset.
