The role of a Warehouse Operative at La Cordée involves crucial responsibilities in managing the flow of goods. The successful candidate will be tasked with:
- Receiving and dispatching products accurately and efficiently.
- Conducting physical inspections of incoming merchandise to ensure compliance with delivery documentation.
- Identifying and rectifying discrepancies during the reception process.
- Organizing and storing inventory within the warehouse to maintain an orderly environment.
- Communicating any inventory inconsistencies between various locations and the distribution center.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse and loading areas to ensure safe and accessible workspaces.
- Providing weekly updates to the supervisor to review the week’s performance and strategize for the upcoming period.
- Offering suggestions for operational improvements to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Ensuring effective communication with all relevant parties involved in the logistics process.
- Performing additional tasks as directed by the supervisor to support the company's growth.
- Thoroughly inspecting merchandise for online orders prior to delivery.
- Verifying quantities and codes in the inventory management system.
- Processing orders through the designated software.
- Packaging orders according to established guidelines.
- Utilizing computer tools for order shipment.
- Completing other related duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
