Job Title: Cashier (Part-time)

About the Role:

Giant Tiger is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Ottawa. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Restock merchandise, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure health and safety policies are followed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 18 kg, and perform other physical demands of the role.
