Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Formwork Supervisor to oversee our formwork operations at Sticks Concrete Construction. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience is an asset

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit production reports and other documentation
  • Suggest strategies to enhance productivity
  • Address work-related issues, offer technical guidance, and propose improvements for productivity and quality
  • Supervise and manage workers and ongoing projects
  • Coordinate and schedule project activities
  • Oversee apprenticeship training programs
  • Provide training or arrange for training sessions
  • Estimate project costs and required materials
  • Set up necessary equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Recommend personnel actions as needed
  • Establish effective methods to meet project timelines
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Order materials and supplies as required
Supervision
  • Manage a team of 3-4 individuals
  • Oversee staff across various responsibilities
Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable
Transportation Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Access to a personal vehicle
Work Conditions
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
