Key Responsibilities- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Respond to client inquiries, provide assistance, and maintain effective relationships with clients and visitors.
- Conduct Proactive Patrols: Ensure overall safety by conducting regular patrols, responding to breaches in site rules, and documenting any concerns.
- Respond to Emergencies: Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- De-escalate Crisis Situations: Provide support and liaise with emergency personnel to resolve crisis situations.
- Exercise Crowd Control: Evict trespassers from site and maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Document Incidents: Write clear and detailed reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and day-to-day reports.
- Provide First Aid: Provide first aid when required and utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities.
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and proven de-escalation skills.
- Physical Demands: Be able to perform all physical aspects of the job, including walking up to 20km/shift, walking up/down stairs, and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
- Availability: Be available to work full-time hours, on a rotation, including mornings, evenings, and overnights.
- Security License: Hold a valid Alberta Security license or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing work with Paladin Security.
