Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic Foreman/Woman to join our team at Commercial Restaurant Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems in our commercial kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify and prioritize maintenance and repair needs.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve work problems and improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate in refrigeration and air conditioning.
  • 2-3 years of experience in refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance and repair, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to noise, heat, and cold temperatures. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
