Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at BC LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials, as well as instructing apprentices and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Instruct and supervise apprentices in various construction tasks
  • Assist in the demolition of buildings and structures
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse
  • Perform routine maintenance work on construction equipment and tools
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction sites
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites as needed
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
