Are you enthusiastic about delivering outstanding customer experiences? Do you excel in a busy atmosphere? Our Gas Bar is an ideal workplace for you. We are currently looking for a part-time Gas Bar Attendant to become a vital part of our energetic team.
Position: Gas Bar Attendant
Employment Type: Part-time; hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months of service. If relocating from another province, please ensure you have the necessary health coverage.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends - morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service at the fuel pumps
- Accurately dispense fuel and propane
- Conduct windshield cleaning and check oil and fluid levels
- Efficiently process payments for fuel and merchandise
- Receive, unpack, and showcase merchandise carefully
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment
- Assist with car wash duties as required
- Support promotional activities to enhance customer satisfaction
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by management
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum age: 16 years (as per regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Previous experience in cash handling and customer service is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
- Team-oriented with the capability to work independently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is involved
- Experience in fuel dispensing is advantageous; training will be provided
