Job Title: Millwright/Mechanic

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a skilled Millwright/Mechanic to join our team. As a senior-level assembly position, you will work with a diverse range of rotating equipment, including BBx, OHx, vertical pumps, small compressors, and other high-energy pumps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work safely and independently to assemble and repair rotating equipment, following pre-job briefs and checklists.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers, to ensure accurate assembly and repair.
  • Inspect and verify quality of finished and in-process work, documenting critical or indicated fits and dimensions in decimal form.
  • Run balance machines to ensure proper balance of rotating components and assemblies.
  • Paint, tag, and prep pumps for shipment to customers.
  • Conduct low-pressure air tests and high-pressure hydrostatic tests.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of rotating equipment repair experience.
  • Able to read and interpret prints, shop drawings, assembly checklists, and other written work instructions.
  • Accurately set up and read precision measuring instruments.
  • Basic computer aptitude to learn data entry systems and Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
