About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tailor to join our team at Silvana Family Clothing Department Store Inc. as a key member of our Alterations Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fitting, altering, and repairing garments to meet customer requirements
  • Operating sewing machines and sewing by hand to create high-quality garments
  • Working with a variety of fabrics and materials to create custom garments
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve departmental goals
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in garment alterations and repair
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
