Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Cobblestone Cafe. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and supporting our culinary team in preparing and serving delicious meals to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Keep records of food quantities used, and assist with inventory management.
- Package take-out food and provide excellent customer service.
- Support the culinary team in preparing and serving meals, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train on the job.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
