Job Overview

RPI SYSTEMS LTD is seeking a skilled Sprinkler and Fire Protection Installer to join our dedicated team. This role requires a strong background in the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment.
  • Install supports, clamps, brackets, and hangers for piping systems and fire protection equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Install valves, alarms, and related equipment.
  • Utilize soldering and welding equipment to join pipes and piping sections.
  • Service and repair existing sprinkler systems.
  • Oversee and guide other workers in the installation process.
  • Conduct leak tests on systems using air or liquid pressure equipment.
  • Maintain and clean pipe units and fittings, including flushing the system.
  • Cut openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings with appropriate tools or machines.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required specifications.

Work Conditions

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
