Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Healthcare Professionals: Provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Maintain Inventory: Manage and maintain accurate records of medications, pharmaceutical products, and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and Maintain Equipment: Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly prepared and maintained, adhering to standardized safety practices.
  • Operate Sterilization Equipment: Safely operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use, following established protocols.
  • Perform General Clerical Duties: Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
  • Prepare Collection Areas: Maintain cleanliness and organization of collection areas, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  • Process Files and Paperwork: Accurately process and manage patient files and paperwork, adhering to confidentiality and data protection standards.
  • Schedule Appointments: Coordinate and schedule appointments, ensuring timely and efficient patient care.
  • Manage Office Functions: Provide administrative support for routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
  • Order Supplies and Equipment: Procure and manage supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate and organized inventory records, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate: Possess a valid CPR certificate, demonstrating commitment to patient safety and well-being.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrated reliability, organization, and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
