Position Overview:

The Hospitality Server plays a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. This position involves delivering high-quality service, taking accurate orders, and maintaining a thorough understanding of our menu offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process food and beverage orders from patrons, ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, including daily specials and bar offerings.
  • Serve food and drinks in a courteous and professional manner, adhering to company standards.
  • Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, following hygiene protocols and opening/closing procedures.
  • Change table linens as necessary and ensure that all dining materials are clean and in good condition.
  • Prepare condiment sets for tables and ensure table decorations meet company standards.
  • Set tables according to company policy, ensuring all items are clean and undamaged.
  • Monitor storerooms to ensure adequate supplies of cutlery, linens, and other necessary items.
  • Clear tables promptly after guests have finished their meals, balancing efficiency with guest comfort.
  • Present bills to guests and process payments in accordance with company procedures.
  • Provide excellent guest service, addressing any complaints or concerns professionally.
  • Participate in safety drills and maintain familiarity with emergency exits.
  • Assist in training new staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Uphold high standards of personal hygiene and appearance, and ensure that team members do the same.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to health, food safety, and liquor service regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a service-oriented role, with a focus on guest engagement.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.

Working Conditions:

  • Manual dexterity is required for operating computer systems and equipment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 20 lbs may be necessary.
