We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team at AP Group Ltd. as a Framer-Carpenter.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet building specifications.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a secure and functional structure.
- Supervise other workers to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Criminal record check
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent client focus, reliability, and teamwork skills
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
- Permanent employment with 30 hours per week
- English language proficiency
