About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team at HelloFresh. As a Quality Control Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality control inspections on work-in-progress and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Monitor product labeling and CCP compliance to ensure accurate and safe products.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for food safety issues on the production lines.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve product non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including CCP records and line verification records.
  • Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations, and use personal protective equipment as directed.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Biological, Chemical, or Food Sciences.
  • 6-12 months of experience in QC/QA in a food processing, manufacturing, or service industry.
  • Understanding of Safe Food for Canadians Regulations and GFSI schemes.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, varying shifts, and holiday work as required.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and Google Apps, and ability to learn new technologies.
