Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor involves overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service. This position is essential in ensuring that all culinary activities are conducted efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Schedule Management: Develop and implement effective methods to achieve work schedules.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and coordinate the activities of team members engaged in food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Provide comprehensive training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Resource Estimation: Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service offerings adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve any complaints or concerns raised by customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary reports regarding operations.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for staff.
Work Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

  • Work Hours: Expected to work between 30 to 40 hours per week.
