We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Homewood Health Centre. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms to the highest standards of hygiene and infection control
  • Utilize cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Sort, wash, and load laundry, and keep bathrooms stocked with clean linens and toiletries
  • Empty waste paper baskets and trash containers, and replace liners
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital, hotel, or institutional environment is an asset
  • Infection prevention and control training is preferred
  • Ability to use good judgment in deciding priorities with a fluctuating workload
  • Proven customer service and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance record
  • Physically able to perform the duties of the position, including lifting up to 30lbs, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and various repetitive movements
