Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic - Industrial Equipment Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the UPS Caledon Automated Hub. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including conveyor belts, motors, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical components, including motors, reducers, and conveyor belts.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including control stations, fuses, and motor starters.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections on plant equipment, including conveyors and power industrial equipment.
  • Weld equipment, including handrails, conveyor supports, and package handling equipment.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Valid 433A Millwright or 442A Industrial Electrician Certification of Qualification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-apprenticeship experience performing maintenance on industrial equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
