Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at ATS Automation. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation systems and mechanical components for our clients in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation systems and mechanical components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Perform engineering calculations and analyze designs for compliance with applicable standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs and systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawings
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation and mechanical design

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in mechanical design, with expertise in automation design
  • Strong knowledge of drafting principles, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
