Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
