Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Perform maintenance work on production equipment to ensure its proper functioning
  • Ensure that all tasks performed are carried out in accordance with health and safety rules, laws, and regulations, as well as company policies
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, follow the preventive maintenance program according to established standards, and complete work orders
  • Prepare and set up equipment as needed for operations
  • Detect and repair equipment, and ensure rapid repairs in the event of equipment failure
  • Repair, troubleshoot, modify, and inspect various mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, and perform any other related maintenance tasks
Required Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A diploma in electromechanics or relevant experience
  • Experience in a chemical environment (an asset)
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • A strong interest in preventive maintenance
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work in specific environments (enclosed spaces, heights, and outdoors)
  • Demonstrated ability to follow workplace health and safety practices
