Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with corporate tax strategies to maximize tax benefits and incentives.
- Guide and mentor a team of tax professionals on compliance, ensuring they understand client perspectives by discussing tax planning alternatives.
- Establish strong, trusting relationships with clients while advising on intricate tax issues.
- Provide counsel on reorganizations, rollovers, windups, estate, and succession planning, as well as manage T1, T2, and T3 filings.
- Proactively address tax-related challenges in collaboration with clients and team members.
- Lead the growth of our tax practice by identifying and nurturing new service opportunities.
Engagement with Clients: You will interact with senior executives from major corporations, where you will refine your analytical skills and develop innovative tax solutions.
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in or completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, or possession of a Master's degree in Taxation.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax compliance.
- Proven ability to mentor and cultivate talent within the team.
