Job Title: Junior Asset Management Engineer
Position Overview:
This role involves working collaboratively to support Climate Change Operational Adaptation initiatives, evaluating asset vulnerabilities, proposing adaptation strategies, and contributing to distribution planning and asset management. If you're a self-starter with a passion for addressing challenges in energy delivery systems, particularly in the face of climate change and electrification, this position may be a good fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks under the guidance of a professional engineer.
- Lead analysis and project development for Climate Change Operational Adaptation.
- Build relationships with various business units.
- Ensure project timelines are met with precision and adherence to procedures.
- Support Regional Engineer in distribution planning and asset management activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited Institute.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electric generation, transmission, or distribution.
- EGBC registration or eligibility.
- Understanding of climate change adaptation and asset management.
- Proficiency in working with large data sets and computer skills.
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License.
Location:
This role is based in Kelowna and supports the Asset Management team, subject to operational needs.
