Your Role at SafelyYou

This is a remote opportunity to join our team as a Senior Data Developer. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining data repositories, pipelines, and transformations for customer-facing products, internal tools, and business analytics and operations. Your expertise will help scale and enhance our data architecture, enabling us to provide new products and services that improve healthcare outcomes for the elderly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data infrastructure using AWS and database technologies
  • Develop analytical tools to provide actionable insights into key metrics for healthcare professionals and executives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support their data needs for understanding care trends, improving patient outcomes, and analyzing opportunities to enhance services and products
  • Ensure high code and data quality through rigorous testing and documentation
  • Work in an Agile environment to plan, track, and improve the delivery of new features and products
The Ideal Candidate
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience in a SaaS company, preferably in a startup environment
  • Proven track record of implementing and supporting data storage and pipeline solutions
  • Proficiency with Python, PySpark, SQL, and database concepts and tools
  • Experience with workflow orchestration concepts and tools, such as Airflow
  • Experience working with event-based systems and tools, such as AWS EventBridge
  • Experience optimizing performance of SQL queries and PySpark jobs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
