About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at BRAR 22 PIZZA. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, and visible minorities.
  • Mentorship and Support: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers, refugees, and visible minorities with experienced employees, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
