Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinarian to join our team at East Hants Animal Hospital. As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care to animals, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Perform surgical procedures, including soft tissue surgery and preventative care
  • Offer nutritional advice and promote healthy lifestyles for pets
  • Collaborate with our team to provide exceptional patient care and customer service
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements

Requirements

  • Valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada; registered with the NSVMA
  • Experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice
  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, pet parents, and community
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
  • Interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues
  • Love for all companion animals
