About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Cobs Bread Ocean Park. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing dough, batters, and icings for a variety of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters according to recipes and special customer orders
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to meet established quality standards
  • Prepare special orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
Work Environment

Our bakery is a fast-paced environment where you will work in a team to meet production demands. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field
  • Excellent oral communication and client focus skills
  • Reliability and team player attitude
