We are seeking a dedicated Retail Operations Supervisor to oversee our dynamic team at Green Roof Gas Bar. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment of 36 to 40 hours per week.
Work EnvironmentThe role is set in a fast-paced retail environment, where you will be responsible for managing daily operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Delegate tasks to sales associates and ensure efficient workflow.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance team performance.
- Authorize merchandise returns and manage inventory effectively.
- Create and implement work schedules to optimize staff coverage.
- Engage with customers to promote and sell products.
- Compile reports on sales performance, inventory management, and personnel issues.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply chain challenges.
- Oversee cash management and financial transactions.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 employees.
Work ConditionsThis position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
QualificationsIdeal candidates will possess:
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
- Flexibility and dependability in a retail setting.
- Initiative and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
