Project Overview: The selected postdoctoral researcher will explore the intricate cross-cellular mechanisms that govern dendritic spine stability. This role will involve utilizing transgenic models in both situ and in vitro settings, employing a diverse array of imaging techniques such as confocal, super-resolution, and two-photon microscopy, alongside cell biological and biochemical methodologies, as well as electrophysiological assessments and behavioral investigations.
Research Environment: This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance and broaden expertise in neuron and astrocyte biology through various innovative approaches within a vibrant and collaborative research atmosphere that prioritizes integrity, teamwork, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Qualifications and Skills: We welcome applications from researchers who have recently completed or are about to complete their PhD, particularly those with a proven background in cellular signaling and imaging research. Experience with fluorescence imaging, transgenic models, and primary cell culture will be highly regarded.
