We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Kelly-Boy Maintenance Inc. as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and adjustments to various systems and equipment within our buildings.
Key Responsibilities- System Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Advertising and Recruitment: Advertise vacancy to attract potential candidates.
- Contractor Management: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Appliance Repair: Perform minor repairs on appliances.
- Safety and Security Checks: Perform safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment.
- Client Services: Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants.
- Team Supervision: Supervise other workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Physical Demands: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
- Work Conditions: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. We offer a permanent position with a 30 to 40 hour workweek.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
