Reporting directly to the Director of Development, the Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist will play a crucial role in the development and execution of communication strategies aimed at increasing awareness and generating revenue for the organization.

With a solid background in content creation, digital design, and communications, the successful candidate will spearhead marketing initiatives and oversee the management, tracking, and distribution of marketing materials across both digital and traditional platforms.

In collaboration with various departments within PCC, the candidate will engage with the team responsible for producing email campaigns, social media content, major events, website updates, donor relationship management tools, and all other marketing and communication components of PCC.

The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about mentoring staff and has a proven ability to work collaboratively with department leads, volunteers, participants, and other stakeholders to cultivate relationships that support our vision, mission, and strategic goals.


Communications:

Develop a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with the strategic plan and collaborate with the team to formalize tactics to achieve organizational objectives.

Plan and oversee the design, content, and production of marketing and communications materials across all platforms, including website content, intranet, social media, advertisements, reports, videos, signage, print, and more—ensuring consistency in brand voice and visuals.

Manage branding and marketing efforts across all departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated strategy that communicates the organization’s benefits to the community, encompassing initiatives such as MAN VAN, Men's Health, Research, Clinical, Education & Awareness, and more.


Marketing:

Develop original designs that align with PCC's branding and objectives.

Design, create, manage, and enforce organizational standards and branding while ensuring quality assurance on all external materials.

Collaborate with other departments to design, develop, and execute marketing projects and events.

Provide operational leadership for all of PCC's special events and marketing initiatives to enhance revenue generation and increase public awareness of PCC.


Donor Recognition and Corporate Sponsorships:

Assist in preparing proposals, donor reports, and targeted communications to strengthen relationships and meet fundraising goals.

Work with the Fund Development Manager to create donor appreciation and recognition materials, including updates to donor walls, logo placements, appreciation events, thank-you communications, media updates, and more.

Develop the Communications and Marketing budgets and prepare monthly reports to analyze expenses and the effectiveness of each campaign.

Collaborate with the Fund Development Manager to ensure alignment between sales pipelines and marketing efforts.

Oversee the daily activities, performance, and professional development of other members of the Marketing Communications team.

Approve time off for staff and support staffing strategies.

Participate in team-building and fundraising events.

Ensure the health and safety of oneself and others in the workplace by utilizing all hazard controls and wearing personal protective equipment as designated by the employer.

Possess advanced experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, with a portfolio available for review.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, social media platforms, and WordPress.

Have experience in implementing digital strategies.

Bring a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Marketing and Communications, with a focus on developing assets for diverse audiences.

Exhibit exceptional time management, planning, and organizational skills, with a strong emphasis on detail and accuracy.

Possess outstanding verbal communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Maintain a professional and superior donor-service approach.

Flexible work schedule is required, with the possibility of evening and weekend work as needed.
