About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Granville Veterinary Clinic Ltd. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery and patient care
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by veterinarians
  • Provide wound care and bandage services to patients
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
Requirements
  • College diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
