Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain a variety of heavy vehicles, including straight and articulated trucks, to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods and materials in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Inspect Vehicles: Regularly inspect vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, and perform any necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed of any issues or concerns.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as required.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo at all times, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver is required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off as required.
