Facilities Supervisor

Rising Cool Services Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our sites and facilities to ensure that they meet our safety and cleanliness standards.
- Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
- Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to improve our cleaning services and recommend additional services such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our cleaning services are aligned with their needs and requirements.
- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff, ensuring that they are able to complete their tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Leadership Skills: You will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of cleaning staff.
- Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: You will have a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that our sites and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
- Flexibility: You will be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
