Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter Helper to support our construction projects at Irpinia Kitchens. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople in various tasks related to building and renovation.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

The work environment can be noisy and dusty, typical of construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and manage construction materials.
  • Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials like concrete and asphalt.
  • Support framing activities, including erecting walls and constructing roofs.
  • Organize and clean salvaged materials.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks.
  • Handle cleanup of chemical spills and contaminants.
  • Remove debris and rubble from construction sites.
  • Operate machinery and equipment used in construction.
Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including:

  • Meeting tight deadlines.
  • Performing repetitive tasks.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Exhibiting strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrating excellent hand-eye coordination.
Tools and Equipment

Applicants must possess their own steel-toed safety boots.
