Job Title: Azure Cloud Developer for ESDC RFP

49 Solutions is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Developer to join our team for a potential Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunity with Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). As an Azure Cloud Developer, you will work on a range of projects utilizing Azure technologies to design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient cloud-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design and development of highly scalable and resilient backend applications, including architecting, coding, operating, releasing, testing, and tuning.
  • Create architecture diagrams and detailed technical designs for cloud-based applications and services within Azure, addressing business and technical requirements with scalable and resilient solutions.
  • Design, deploy, and manage applications and services on ESDC's Azure cloud platform.
  • Write, test, and deploy code for CDS applications hosted on Azure, including GC Issue and Verify.
  • Utilize and integrate DevOps for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, for test cases, automating deployments, and managing source control.
  • Design and develop secure, performant, and scalable APIs.
  • Monitor applications, identify issues, and optimize performance and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to review and refine cloud solutions.
