What We Provide
Position Overview
AIM is actively seeking a Non-Ferrous Metal Specialist for our operations. Reporting to the site director, the successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining the facility and ensuring efficient production processes, particularly in the sorting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment is essential.
Responsibilities include: Sorting various types of non-ferrous metals; Classifying non-ferrous materials and identifying their types; Weighing incoming materials; Operating forklifts as required; Conducting daily maintenance tasks; Performing general upkeep of the facility; Ensuring all equipment and property are well-maintained; Cleaning workspaces at the end of each shift; Entering data into the RECY system; Delivering exceptional customer service; Assisting with torch cutting when necessary; Preparing shipments and receiving materials; Wearing personal protective equipment at all times.Qualifications
Experience with forklift operation (preferred); Background in metal recycling (preferred); Familiarity with different types of metals (preferred).Desired Skills:
Ability to work in a dusty environment; Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions; Strong customer service skills; Good physical fitness; Commitment to safety practices; Resourcefulness and responsibility; Team-oriented mindset; Punctuality and diligence.Additional Information
