Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care and assistance to residents, including hygiene and comfort care.
  • Accompany residents to activities, the dining room, and appointments, promoting social interaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure residents receive the best possible care.
  • Respond to emergency situations and notify the nurse or person in charge of health services as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of retirement homes and care practices.
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
  • Current CPR/AED training certificates and PDSB training.
