About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team at Spruce Coulee Bison Ranch as a Ranch Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the ranch, including animal care and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the care and maintenance of bison and other livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as tractors, farm trucks, and haying equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on ranch facilities and equipment.
  • Assist with the implementation of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of strategies to improve ranch operations and efficiency.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Previous experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays. The workweek is 40-60 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
