Role Summary:

The Automotive Service Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles are presented to customers in pristine condition. Responsibilities include transporting completed service vehicles to designated areas and performing thorough cleaning of both the interior and exterior surfaces.

Success in this position requires physical agility to navigate around and within vehicles, ensuring a meticulous detailing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely driving vehicles from service bays to customer pick-up zones.
  • Conducting maintenance of the facility grounds as necessary.
  • Assisting with the organization and cleanliness of the shop environment.
  • Performing seasonal cleaning tasks, such as snow removal from vehicle exteriors.
  • Reporting any merchandising needs or concerns to management.
  • Maintaining tidiness in the lot, including garbage disposal.
  • Ensuring vehicles are spotless and free of smudges before returning them to customers.
  • Completing deliveries and additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A genuine interest in the automotive field, with knowledge of various vehicle types.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is advantageous, though not essential.
  • Experience with cleaning products and equipment, including power washers, is beneficial.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a keen attention to detail are essential traits.
  • Strong customer service skills are required.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
